Terms of use
These concise product terms describe what the current application does and does not do. They need commercial legal review before a broader launch.
Eligibility and responsible use
Use ChanYar only if you are 18 or older and use an account you are authorized to control. Provide information you are entitled to use, keep sign-in credentials private, and do not use the service to interfere with another person’s account, access controls, or data.
You are responsible for reviewing manual entries, dates, currencies, assumptions, and source information before relying on them. Missing information remains unknown in many views; it is not evidence of zero money, a confirmed balance, or complete coverage.
What the product provides
ChanYar provides a private workspace for manually recorded assets, liabilities, dated cash records, goals, budgets, monthly check-ins, safe financial-journal Markdown, private transient PDF/CSV exports, and deterministic planning scenarios.
It does not execute, transmit, hold, invest, borrow, transfer, or pay money for you. There is no bank synchronization, brokerage connection, checkout, bank payment flow, premium purchase, or premium entitlement implementation in the current product.
Planning is not advice or a guarantee
ChanYar is not a licensed financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal adviser. It does not provide licensed advice, trading instructions, or a promise of financial outcomes. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for decisions that need one.
Goals and scenario outputs are deterministic illustrations from the explicit inputs and assumptions you select. They do not infer market returns, future income or expenses, FX, taxes, fees, financing, or a probability of success. An illustration, completion date, affordability result, or projected value is not a guarantee.
Manual records and history
Cash records are manually entered dated actuals, not automatic bank facts. Recurring templates are expectations until you explicitly confirm receipt or payment. Budgets and check-ins preserve versions; a finalized check-in remains historical, and a correction creates a new confirmed version rather than revising the old one.
The financial journal intentionally supports a small safe Markdown subset, not raw HTML, executable links, or embedded scripts. Private report exports are available only to the authenticated owner as transient responses; do not treat an export as a public storage link or an independently audited statement.
Educational AI Planner
The AI Planner is optional and requires explicit versioned consent. It is constrained to educational explanations and permitted actions; it cannot execute financial activity or replace the application’s deterministic calculations. Do not submit passwords, account secrets, or sensitive identifying information in a typed question.
AI requests use best-effort redaction and limited qualitative descriptors, but no system can promise perfect anonymization, zero provider retention, no training, or recall of a delivered request. Local managed history options and deletion controls apply to ChanYar’s managed records, not to provider processing that has already occurred.
Availability, changes, and legal readiness
The current application may withhold results when inputs are incomplete, currencies are incompatible, or an assumption cannot be supported. Do not depend on it for time-critical money execution or as the sole record of your financial position.
There is no configured public operator legal identity, physical address, governing law, dispute process, commercial support commitment, or final public contact email in these terms. They are operational product terms, not invented commercial promises. Complete a jurisdiction-appropriate legal review before a broader commercial launch.
